GGPoker becomes latest global launch of Yggdrasil

Online gambling software provider Yggdrasil Gaming has begun expansion plans after launching slot and game content via its GGPoker room.

After a highly efficient integration process which ensured all of its required content was seamlessly delivered, Yggdrasil are now in multiple of the world’s online gambling markets.

For now, there is an initial phase of titles that have been integrated. However, it is expected that more will be released in due course. GGPoker is the largest poker network in the industry, while it has also recently increased the size of its portfolio of products, having expanded further into the online casino niche. As such, news of this latest partnership with Yggdrasil is seen as somewhat of a coup.

Yggdrasil slowly growing by reputation

Being affiliated with brand like Yggdrasil speaks volumes for GGPoker, especially from a customer acquisition perspective, while current players will also find the benefits of being able to differentiate their experience.

The timing of the integration was actually very strategic, with the launch coinciding with the highly popular Wold Series of Poker (WSOP), which draws in considerable global audiences and which GGPoker is affiliated with.

During the partnership, there will be multiple campaigns coordinated by Yggdrasil, using the software provider’s BOOST tool, which is proven to increase customer acquisition and retention. Running such campaigns throughout the WSOP can add a new profile of player to the GGPoker site, as a result, diversifying demographics.

Following confirmation of the deal, Head of PR at GGPoker, Paul Burke, revealed that the brand is continuously on the lookout for new products and, as a result, that Yggdrasil fit the bill perfectly of what it wanted.

Andrew Pegler, Chief of Commercial Operations at Yggdrasil Gaming, echoed these views indicating that all those involved with the software provider are looking forward to seeing how the integration will be greeted, especially during the WSOP event.

Major Statement

Such an agreement is being viewed as a big deal for Yggdrasil, which is gradually gaining momentum in the industry and can rapidly grow into one of the premier software providers.

Already it has established key assets to its brand which has already given it an edge on its competition, such as the YG Masters Program, this being an innovative platform that allows smaller, more boutique providers and studios to launch their games, which are then picked up by major operators.

Essentially the software provider is ahead of the game in the industry and can continue to expand its brand and make a name for itself, especially with this new partnership, that will give it access to more of a diverse market.

GGPoker’s players will subsequently gain access to all of the latest titles and releases from Yggdrasil and as a result, this can help to leverage further deals with other operators in the industry, that do not want to miss out on what their competition is offering.

With more and more markets opening up around the world in the industry, there is a lot of potential for Yggdrasil to really make its mark in these and quickly establish a foothold. The partnership with GGPoker is likely to be just the beginning. Watch this space.
